What does the Blackrock area take in?
The village, the Marina, Mahon and Ballintemple. The older houses near the water still have their original sash windows, and a sash is brush work on the beads, the frame and both halves, so a room with three of them takes longer than all the walls in it.

Do you paint sash windows?
Yes. Each one comes back to bare where the paint has built up on the beads, then it is cut in by hand so the sash still runs when it is dry.
Can a feature wall be done in one room only?
Yes. It suits the plainer rooms out towards Mahon, where there is no cornice or picture rail already on the wall.
