Who we are
Scott Long Painting & Decorating is a painting and decorating business working across Cork city and the surrounding areas. For anything relating to your personal data, call or text us on 085 252 9572.
What we collect
The quote form takes your name, the location of the job, your email address, your phone number, and whatever you tell us about the work. That is all. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not follow you around the internet. We do count visits to the site, and how often the call and email buttons are tapped, using tools that set no cookies and do not identify anyone. Your browser stores one small flag, only to remember that you have dismissed the cookie notice.
How we use it
Only to get back to you, arrange a time to call out, and price the job. We do not sell your details and we do not add you to any marketing list.
Who else handles it
Formspree (formspree.io) receives the quote form and forwards it to us. Their own privacy policy covers that step.
The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless and collects no personal data: it tells us page views and where visitors came from, nothing about who you are.
Cloudflare also hosts the software behind the site, and keeps a copy of each quote form enquiry so that one cannot go missing. That copy is deleted after 90 days.
How long we keep it
For as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, then it is deleted. Formspree keeps its own copies under its own retention policy, and the backup copy held at Cloudflare is deleted after 90 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text 085 252 9572 and we will sort it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
